Would G-d have His own internet messageboard/forum?

Well, there's this strange fellow who thinks he's all that and he's got a messageboard where all us plain people can post our questions to the diety.

Be forewarned, though, he's also psychic and his psychic ectoplasm floats through the cyberether and oozes out of your computer monitor screen where he can monitor you through your eyeballs. If he sees demons behind your eyeballs, he'll greet each of them by name.

And he can't understand why he's been banned from so many other internet forums. Hmm...

HERE'S THE LINK

It's on Ezboard which may or may not require that you be an Ezboard member in order to view the forum. That would be up to the forum owner who, in this case, claims to be The Big Guy Upstairs. I bet he's just a tad busy these days trying to keep the Republicans from stealing another election so if at first you don't succeed...

Okay, so the obvious first question would be, "Why did you invent cockroaches?"

And: "How come my coffeemaker doesn't make coffee taste exactly the same every time?"

Woman charged for wiping nose on cop

A woman in West Virginia was charged with battery on a police officer, after the officer said she wiped her nose on the back of his shirt.

Cpl. S.E. Elliott said he had arrested the 36-year-old woman last week after seeing her slap a man, bite him on the elbow and spit in his face.

Elliott said the woman wiped her nose on him as he led her into the police station for booking on a charge of domestic battery.

Battery on a police officer is defined as intentionally making physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with an officer.

G-string Santa arrested for drunk driving

In an impressive display of commitment to the Christmas spirit, a man was arrested in Los Angeles for drunk driving while wearing a Santa hat and a G-string.

He was spotted outside the famous Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Sunday, and was promptly arrested.

In addition to his Santa hat and the G-string (which was purple), the man was also wearing a wig, a red lace camisole and black leg warmers.

The man was taken to jail after tests showed his blood-alcohol level over the legal limit, and was later released on $5,000 bail.

In a helpful bit of clarification from the police department, Deputy Chief Ken Garner said: 'We are pretty sure this is not the Santa Claus.'

Islamic Rage Boy Sings "Infidels" (Jingle Bells)

The 15-Minute Dating Blog

Great idea -- a blog for dating horror stories. I think we've all got probably at least one, if not more. Ya think?

Here's the
blog.

Their "five most popular posts" at the time of me writing this post:

50 Reasons Why Young Women Should Date Older Men
The Fifty Worst Pick-Up Lines of All Time
To Date or Not to Date a Famous Person: One girl's true account Online Dating Profile Dictionary
Still Looking At This Late Date: My Online Dating Experiences
Have fun.

Hmmm... well, why not. Here's a dating horror story of my own:

When I was in high school, I believed in abstinence before marriage. Not just to not have sex before marriage but to also take good care of your body in other ways, like not taking drugs. Of course, I think I started smoking cigarettes during my high school years so I didn't always stay on the straight and narrow.

But I did enough that it annoyed a group of my peers, mostly boys, who took bets on who would be the first to, well, you know... and there had to be proof, as in eyewitnesses.

So I was going to be set up.

Ha ha... this is so great. You see, teenage boys can't help bragging and this one boy was bragging about making a "conquest" of me before it ever happened, going into minute detail of his plot and how it would all happen with ALL the other boys invited to be eyewitnesses to the event.

One of those boys was my best friend's deep-romance-committed-for-life (as only 15-year-old romances can be) boyfriend. He told her everything.

And she told me everything. Boyfriend love vs. girlfriend loyalty? There's no contest.

And we, in turn, told a couple of the girls in our little crowd or clique and we girls planned our revenge. For something that hadn't even happened. Yet.

The magic moment arrives and I allow this boy to persuade me to leave a party and just go sit outside in his car and "talk." Then there was some kissing. He was medium-okay at that but you can't expect perfection from a male of that age group.

Then he says, "Let's get in the back seat."

M'kay...

And as we sink below seat level, the dummies that were creeping up to the outside of the car, surrounding it so they could all peek in through the windows, weren't even that careful and I could actually hear them sneaking up to the car.

I pretended to be carried away by passion.

Heh heh...

And when I was pretty sure the witnesses were all in place, about to bounce up and eyewitness something that was never going to happen, I started laughing out LOUD.

The boy says, annoyed, "What are you laughing at?"

I answer, "But, I didn't know it would be so little!!!!" Oh, the heads started popping up in the windows at that.

Then there were bright flashes of light, flashbulbs popping, and the boys outside the car were yelling, "Hey!" and "What the -- [fill in your favorite expetive]!" and the three other girls in MY plot were standing on the curb across the street, waving their little cameras and laughing their asses off, too.

I sat up, said "Toodles!" and scrambled back to the front seat and was out the passenger door then laughing as I joined my girlfriends across the street.

The best-never-laid plans of mice and teenage boys...

Human role not ruled out in tiger attack

Sounds like somebody did something really, really stupid and people got hurt and one killed as a result.

From the article:

SAN FRANCISCO - The big cat exhibit at the San Francisco Zoo was cordoned off as a crime scene Wednesday as investigators tried to determine whether a 300-pound Siberian tiger that killed a visitor escaped from its high-walled pen on its own or got help from someone, inadvertent or otherwise.

Police shot the animal to death after a Christmas Day rampage that began when the tiger escaped from an enclosure surrounded by what zoo officials said are an 18-foot wall and a 20-foot moat. Two brothers who also were visiting the zoo were severely mauled.

Police Chief Heather Fong said the department has opened a criminal investigation to "determine if there was human involvement in the tiger getting out or if the tiger was able to get out on its own."

Police said they have not ruled anything out, including whether the escape was the result of carelessness or a deliberate act.

Photo and Image Storage

My favorite has to be Photobucket.com but maybe that's just because I've been using them for so long. Navigation and custom folders and subfolders are all very easy to set up. There's also Flickr and Snapfish.

ALSO SEE: How to Leech Pictures from Flickr or Google Images

And have a look at these fun thingamabobs: MyPictures3D for the ultimate in picture organizing and saving and sharing and also see the virtual reality fun of 3Dna, which is kind of hard to explain so you just have to go see it -- you can organize all your files and links with it.

Dumpr (an odd name) is a fun online utility for playing around with and then sharing your image files. Place your image on display at a museum with onlookers or put it on a Rubik's Cube, among other things. Many links for instant posting to blogs and such.

Here's a few examples:

An old family photo in the "museum setting." I'm the little geeky kid in the middle.

A photo of writer/director/producer/actor/computer genius Ben Affleck done up as a "pencil sketch."

A picture of me with the "alien effect." Yeah, I know, I know... this is what I look like in the early morning before I've had my cup of coffee. LOL.

Me, as a "rubik's cube."

No, you DON'T have to be stuck just linking to them like I did here. As stated, they can directly link your picture to many different places including blogs and MySpace and Facebook, etc. Plus, you can save any image to your hard drive.

Picture Trail lets you create imaginative slideshows with your pictures then store and share them with others. I know Photobucket does the slideshow thing, too, but it's pretty standard - one picture after another rotation. Picture Trail takes that a step further.

My Delphi Forums Sig File

I hang out at a lot of different forums at Delphi because they have every possible interest covered there. A lot of wacky people run forums at Delphi and it's a great deal of fun to be an observer to human behavior there. I've actually been able to create and flesh out characters for my writing from some of the folks who post at Delphi, especially the rabid fanatics of various political stripes.

Ha ha ha ha... the most fun I had was posting factual data on the rabid right-wing forum, "The Bully Pulpit," where they finally banned me for suggesting that people ought to follow the Golden Rule. I'd been discussing how the forum owner and her moderators permitted "pile-on thread hijacking" whenever anyone posited a middle-of-the-road or liberal or Democratic view of issues but the threads of the rabid ones were vigorously protected with constant "clean up" when the right-wing talking points were challenged.

I'd mentioned to one rabid right-winger that if he truly was the Christian he pretended to be then he believed in the Golden Rule. Makes sense, doesn't it? So... when he burst into threads with vicious personal attacks and insults and the aforementioned thread hijacking, he was proclaiming to all that was how he wished to be treated. It follows logically the concept of the Golden Rule, does it not?

So they banned me because the rabid dog whined that I'd made a terrorist threat. Ha ha ha ha ha ha... I love it. Only the brain dead would not see the humor here.

Anyway, this is the "sig file" that attaches to the bottom of all my postings in any forum at Delphi that permits sig files...

Join the Blue Ribbon Online
Free Speech Campaign!

The last bit in there about free speech was just to tweak the beaks of the rabid dog extremists. In fact, the very last one, a smilie custom made by me, was put into my sig after a long list of links to posts of mine that had been censored by a left-wing anti-Semite who hosts a forum at Delphi. For example, he made up a bunch of crap or linked to crap from either white power websites or terrorist sponsored websites (or websites run by people who also were involved with terrorists or the general left-wing anti-Israel movement) and for every lie he posted, I would have the annoying habit of digging up the actual truth. Which he would promptly delete. LOL. So when my friend Randy started a Delphi Form to discuss Islamofacism from an American point of view, I started re-posting every censored post there with that little smilie.
Oh, man the rabid dogs sure hate you when you tell the truth and back it up. Makes me feel good all over. Proof of success comes in various forms such as the responses that include the personal attack. But, nothing beats getting banned for proof of success! Yee-haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!!

The Infinite Cat Project

I do love cats and there's no such thing as too many kitty pictures, right? So whoever thought this website up is a genius. From the website:
The story of a monumental concatenation...

Shortly after the turn of the false millennium, or early in the year 2000, I was cruising a favored Apple computer forum and chanced upon the picture you see to your left. That's Frankie, the progenitor of the Infinite Cat Project, admiring the beauty of a flower. (Major kudos to Paul Hamilton, owner of Frankie, for kicking this whole thing off.)

Not long after that another visitor to the same forum beheld his cat growling at the picture of Frankie and summarily posted an image of that event. I thought this sequence held promise and had my own cat, Poozy, join the queue, a progression that now boasts over 1400 cats.

There's always room at the table for one more kitty. So join us, won't ye?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The Wee Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor, Mich.
by Celeste Headlee

Fairies are settling in the Michigan college town of Ann Arbor. At least, that's what artist Jonathon Wright would like you to believe. All across the city, "fairy doors" are popping up. The miniature openings into imagined fairy homes are unsponsored, unauthorized works of public art that have captured the imagination of the city.

A six-inch white wooden door with a carved jamb framed by miniature bricks was the first to appear, outside Sweetwaterz Cafe. Since the spring of last year, seven more doors have appeared at businesses around Main Street.

The human behind the fairy tale is illustrator Jonathon Wright. In 1993, his wife ran a preschool program in their home. On a whim, Wright installed a fairy door in the house. The children's delighted response prompted him to build more.

The Crate Application and Research Project

The Crate Application and Research Project was set up to promote crates in today's society. Modern attitudes to the crate have become somewhat jilted, especially since the sexual revolution of The Sixties. The Great British Red Crate used to be held in huge esteem by men and women from all classes. For instance, in the mid-Forties in Cheshunt, Hampshire, a crate was voted into the Office of Mayor for nearly three years running until meeting which a tragic accident involving a blowtorch. In 1951 the people of Bradninch, Devon, saw the first crate to be made a head schoolteacher.

As well as the afore-mentioned emminent crates, many crates found uses in other walks of life and were a huge part of every person's day to day routine. These pages were written to demonstrate the fantastic versatility of the humble crate, and to show how in these modern times, the crate is as important as it ever was.
